"Rajya Sabha MP Samik Bhattacharya questioned, "When and where will BJP field the candidate? Why is Trinamool sweating over this?" Meanwhile, expressing confidence in the CBI's work, he welcomed the order for a CBI inquiry into the Sandeshkhali scandal, stating, "Both the people of Bengal and the High Court trust the CBI." He also highlighted the rejection of a police FIR against the National Investigation Agency (NIA) by the court, noting, "Faith in NIA's investigation direction."
